I think nearly all dog owners were in a state of panic when the pet food recalls were first announced.  I know I was!  It only grew worse as more and more brand names were added to the list.  The danger impacted young and old dogs and all ages in between.

I felt helpless.  I know what makes up a safe, healthy diet for the rest of my family, but I knew that our human diet was not what my poodle needed.  Yet, I had no idea what alternatives were available.  I hadn't discovered these crucial books and reports, yet.
