Whether it's a puppy or an adult, male or female, registered or mixed, all of us know that MY Maltese is special!

But... every dog needs training.  In fact, Maltese puppy peering out of an open car window.

Every Maltese Puppy or Dog Deserves Training,

Because They Love It!  In fact, I've never had (or met) a dog of any breed who doesn't love the routine of training sessions.

And it's pretty easy to understand why they enjoy it so much.  Just think about what your Maltese loves best (aside from that special treat--in the case our "little guy" that would be bacon).  They all love attention from their people!

When you are training your Maltese, it gets your full, undivided attention.  And, if you follow Dean Rankin's tips, it will be very pleasant time for all involved.

This great training system is actually avaible in audio form, so you can listen while you admire your Maltese.  Now that's something that your "baby" will really appreciate.

All together, it's more than one hour and forty minutes long--packed full of great training advice, especially designed for the unique temperament of a Maltese.

(I suggest reading the rest of this review, but you can find the link to the audio training course at the bottom or the page if you're in a hurry.)

I give this system four and a half stars out of five.  So...

What's Wrong With It?

I identify two problems:
  • Rankin advises us never to use physical punishment.  Obviously, I totally agree with that.  But let's face it:  What person that "belongs to" a Maltese would really hit such an adorable animal.
  • He advises that you should train your Maltese for fifteen minutes a day.  I've trained quite a few dogs, and I firmly believe that two training sessions a day will work much more quickly.  Besides, you and your dog are going to enjoy this so much, that you're not going to want to wait twenty-four hours for that next session.
What's Right With It?

Everything else!  This system was developed for Maltese (and their people), tested on Maltese (and their people) and has proven to be highly successful with Maltese (and, yes, even their people).

I strongly recommend that you go read about it.

By the way.  They're going to ask for your name, email address and Maltese's name so they can add you to their "free tips list" before they let you in.  They have a strict privacy policy.  But if you don't want to share that, then just make up something:

NAME:  Grzby
EMAIL:  SomethingCreative@hotmail.com
MALTESE NAME:  Killer

Have fun!  I promise you'll love the training process.
